Siemens awarded five stars by eco

The data center “Erlangen central” of Siemens AG gained five stars and the best possible result in the eco Datacenter Star Audit in September 2006.

The eco Datacenter Star Audit objectively tests and assesses products and services provided by data centers. The allocated stars indicate the quality and scope of the services provided in much the same way as a Hotel rating system.

In the selection of test criteria, eco places great emphasis on a practical approach and on the actual requirements of potential customers. The assessment of a data center is conducted both on the basis of an extensive questionnaire and an on-site inspection by the appointed auditor.

This respected certification provides further proof of Siemens’ impressive quality.
