29.09. Cologne: eco Congress – Roads for Tomorrow

eco’s 2010 Annual Congress will be held on 29 September under the name “Roads for Tomorrow” at the Cologne Radisson Blu Hotel. Participants can expect four fascinating panels, focusing on The Internet of Things, Tablet Devices/Apps, Cloud Services, and Data Centres.

Presentations will include Prof. Matthias Kaiserswerth, Director of the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory, talking about Aquasar: A first of a kind hot-water cooled supercomputer.

Jörg Kantel, of the Max-Planck-Institute for the History of Science, will explain why devices like the iPad are leading to a dead end. Consultant Dr Wolfgang Martin will present the findings of the “XaaS Check 2010 – Status Quo and Trends in Cloud Computing” survey.
