30.06. eco Internet Award 2011
From now until 21st April 2011, all companies with a focus on the Internet industry can apply to be nominated in ten categories for the eco Internet Awards 2011. eco – the Association of the German Internet Industry is hosting the awards this year for the eleventh time. New categories in this year are Security, Infrastructure and Domain Name Registrar. A jury of experts from the industry, academia and journalism will decide who, of the three nominees in each category, should be the winner. The Award gala will be held on 30th June 2011.
The eco Internet Awards commemorate companies in the Internet industry, who provide innovative products or services.

Categories Data Center / Infrastructure »Category Data Center
In the category “Data Center” the prize is given to the Data Center Operator with the best customer supply for:
- Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
- Availability, Concepts of Redundancies, SLA’s
- Security Concept and Certifications
- Service Offer
Category Infrastructure
In the category “Infrastructure” the prize is given to the supplier or Data Center planer who offers the most innovative solution or concept for a data center operator:
- Power Supply, Emergency Power Supply
- Cooling
- Network, Routing, Cabling
- Surveillance, Monitoring, Access Control
- Total Planning, Design of Building
